Recording
Half Normalled To Nowhere can manage your recording sessions allowing you to concentrate on the most important aspect, the performance. With experience in all major hardware and software packages you can be sure of professional service. -
Mixing
Maybe you have made a recording but don't have the facilities or the ears to turn it into a polished mix, or you have a mix created by someone that doesn't exactly convey your original intentions. Half Normalled To Nowhere can mix or remix your tracks to achieve exactly the results you require. -
Mastering
If your mix lacking that professional polish or the levels of each song on an album are varied, chances are it hasn't been mastered. Or if it has, then it has been done badly... Production
When many bands go into a recording studio the engineer hits record and the band play. When the band are happy (and sometimes even when they are not) the engineer will create a mix and say job done. This is not how recordings should be made. The job of the producer is to ensure that the recording is made to the best of the performers ability and tailored to suit the intended market ensuring greater success. This may involve arranging songs, changing instrumentation, altering performance, carefully choosing different equipment... The list is almost endless. Half Normalled To Nowhere will get as involved as you like in the process or can hold back to give you more artistic control.
Half Normalled To Nowhere's in-house editing/mixing/production setup consists of top of the range equipment and software to guarantee that there is no compromise in quality. The most important aspects in any audio chain are the input and output stages. In this setup, Blue Sky System One monitors are used to ensure accurate monitoring across the whole audible frequency spectrum. They consist of two 6" satellites and one 12" Sub producing a very extended range with great control and allowing accurate control of the often difficult low frequency information.
